Academic Recognition

Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Nursing and Radiography Programs recognize students who have excelled academically at two ceremonies: Pinning Ceremony, and Graduation.

Honor & Award Recognition

Twice a year, students are recognized who excel both professionally and academically. Award recipients are notified via letter from Vice President Dr. Nancy Bittner.

Awards and scholarships are given based on available funding. Some scholarships are awarded to students who have documented financial need. Honor certificates are presented to students who receive a GPA of 3.3 from the previous semester’s Nursing course.

A complete listing of awards, with detailed criteria for each, is available from the Director, Student & Alumni Services. Scholarships and Award criteria are also included in the Student Handbook.

Pinning Ceremony

Pinning ceremonies are held in December and May each year. At these events held at Regis College, Weston campus, each graduate receives their program pin. In addition, honor certificates and awards are presented to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.

Graduation

Graduation ceremonies are held in May each year at Regis College. At this formal commencement exercise each student who has met the graduation requirements of the program during the past academic year receives an associate of science degree from Regis College.
