“Lawrence Memorial/Regis College (LM/RC) really met my needs. I felt as though my professors were willing to work with me, and over the semesters, you become family. I’m currently working as a graduate tutor – they can’t get rid of me!”
Why Our Students Choose Us
LM/RC graduates do well when they finish our programs. We have high pass rates on our nursing exam for licensure and our radiography exam for registry. Our graduates are employed in nursing or radiography within 6-12 months of graduation. In addition, our graduates were identified by the College Score Card as earning higher salaries than our peers upon graduation!
People make the difference at LM/RC. The people are the leaders, faculty, staff, students and alumni that are LM/RC. Graduates tell us- the reputation as a quality school for nursing and radiography is the reason they come here but the dedicated leaders, faculty & staff are why they succeed here. Students make friendships here that last a lifetime. Over 40% of our current faculty are our graduates that return to teach the next generation of nurses.
Students at LM/RC in both nursing and radiography, have their clinical experiences at over 40 quality medical affiliates in the Boston area. The affiliates include a wide variety of hospitals, community sites and home care. Hospital affiliates include Massachusetts General Hospital (Rad), Boston Medical Center (Nsg), Boston Children’s Hospital (Rad), Tufts Medical Center (Nsg & Rad), Beth Israel Medical Center (Rad), Lahey Health (Nsg & Rad) and our own Melrosewakefield Healthcare (Nsg & Rad).
Investing in your education is never easy but it is always worth it. Our tuition is less than typical full time college tuition because students pay for courses by the number of credits not the full semester tuition. Financial aid and tuition scholarship money is available to help you.
