Kathleen Dunphy Nolan Student Scholarship
Kathleen Dunphy Nolan grew up in Massachusetts and attended Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing to pursue her lifelong dream of being a nurse. After she graduated, Kathleen moved with two of her nursing school friends to California, where she began a long career as a Hospice and Home Health Care nurse. As a nurse, a mother, and a friend to all, Kathleen always portrayed a love of life, laughter, family, and faith. She will be remembered by all as a devoted family member and friend who welcomed everyone she encountered with a warm smile and a kind word.
The Kathleen Dunphy Nolan Scholarship will recognize academically outstanding nursing students who have demonstrated Kathleen’s commitment to compassionate care, have a zest for life and laughter, and want to pursue a degree in education beyond the Associate degree.
