Free Books
Those who apply, get accepted, and begin Fall 202 will receive their first semester books free of charge. This program is valued at approximately $635.
Bachelor of Science (BS) Courses
After successful completion of the first year, all students in academic good standing are able to begin Imaging Courses for the BS in Medical Imaging. Students who have all their general education courses completed for the AS degree may begin their general education courses for the BS as early as their first semester.
Scholarship Availability
$2500 is offered for the first semester for applicants who have been accepted and have a GPA of 3.3 or higher. The scholarship is renewable if the student maintains a 3.3 GPA throughout the program, with the potential to receive $10,000 over the course of the program.
Clinical Sites at Major Medical Centers
Students are able to complete their clinical experiences in major medical centers in and around the Greater Boston area.
Networking Opportunities
All students will partake in one field trip or seminar to encourage networking and exposure to emerging technology.
Small Class Size
There are at maximum seventeen students per class and three full-time faculty, which allows for more individualized instruction.
Styles of Teaching
We offer different styles of teaching methods to accommodate the needs of a 21st century student such as distance learning, flipped classrooms, and interactive review sessions.
Registry Review
All students take part in ARRT registry exam review throughout their time in the program. They also receive a weekend long registry review prep course paid for by LMRC Radiography program.
Certificate Program Discount
Graduates of the LMRC Radiography program will be eligible for a 20% tuition discount for either certificate program offered by Lawrence Memorial Hospital. These advanced modality programs are Computed Tomography (CT, 6 months) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI, 8 months).
Additional Career Pathways
Regis College offers a BS Degree completion for Medical Imaging, Vascular Interventional, and Breast Imaging. All radiography credits are transferable. Degree completion takes approximately 12-16 months, part-time or full-time, with hybrid and online course options available.
In MelroseWakefield Healthcare’s certificate programs, students can earn CE credits to become ARRT registry-eligible. Six credits per certificate are transferable to the Regis BS Completion program, with a discount for LMRC students and graduates.

Radiologic technologists are the largest group of allied health professionals in the United States, and the Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Radiography Program is educating its students to meet the growing demands for qualified professionals in this exciting and burgeoning field.
