Policy

Through a Grievance Committee, students have an opportunity to resolve academic and non-academic conflicts when other means have not resulted in satisfaction.  The Grievance Committee shall be established upon a student’s submission of a Grievance Form to the Vice President for Education.

The duties of the Grievance Committee are:

  1. Provide students an opportunity to resolve academic and non-academic and non-academic conflicts when other means have not resulted in satisfaction.  The Grievance Committee shall be established upon a student’s submission of a Grievance Form to the Vice President for Education.
  2. Provide students with an easily accessible and fair means of being heard.
  3. Insure a mechanism for prompt and equitable response.
  4. Contribute in a positive way toward the development of mutual respect and trust between students and faculty through communication and ultimate reconciliation.
