Grading Medical Radiography Courses

The Medical Radiography course grades indicate the extent to which the student has achieved the objectives of the course.  For all Medical Radiography theory and theory with lab courses, students must achieve a C+ (78%) grade or better, pass all final examinations, and for lab courses, pass all lab practical exams.  For each clinical course, the student must achieve the stipulated minimum clinical course grade or better.

Percentages are used to compute all grades.  All work is weighted as determined by the faculty teaching the course in consultation with the Program Director.  The total weight for all evaluation methods in each course must equal 100%.

Courses not completed are recorded as incomplete, withdrew/pass or withdrew /fail.  All course work must be completed within two weeks after the end of  the course.  Failure to meet this completion date will result in the conversion of the incomplete grade to a grade of F (0.0) and this grade will be submitted to the Registrar, Medford campus.

Grading Non-Medical Radiography Courses

Non-Medical Radiography course grades are determined by a combination of class work and examinations.  A minimum course grade of 1.7 (C-)  is required in all non-medical radiography courses.  Courses taken at other colleges also require at least a 1.7 (C-)  for course exemption.
