| Dropping or Withdrawing From a Medical Radiography Course |
PolicyStudents may request to drop a medical radiography course before it begins or withdraw from a medical radiography course at any time thereafter. Students who withdraw from a medical radiography course and are not enrolled in any non-medical radiography course in the curriculum are automatically placed on a leave of absence. Students may request to withdraw from a medical radiography course only once during the curriculum. A student who withdraws from a medical radiography course (after the midterm examination) and is failing at the time of withdrawal will have this course counted as the one allowable failure. A student who withdraws from a medical radiography course, which runs concurrently with other medical radiography courses in which the student is enrolled, is automatically withdrawn from those co-requisite courses Prior to re-enrollment in medical radiography courses, a student who has successfully or exempted out of any prior medical radiography courses may be required to validate previous medical radiography knowledge (See Validation Testing Policy). A student who withdraws failing near the end of a course may be unable to repeat the course in the next semester. |
