Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) |
Policy
A CORI will be conducted on every accepted applicant prior to enrollment in medical radiography courses in keeping with relevant Massachusetts regulations and policies*. Students whose CORI results indicate potential inability to hold an RTR license or who meet the discretionary disqualification or the lifetime presumptive disqualification of Massachusetts regulations and policies will be interviewed to elicit further information and informed of the possibility that they may not be allowed to enroll or continue enrollment in the program, sit for the ARRT Radiography Exam or be issued an RTR license by the Commonwealth of Department of Public Health, Radiation Control Program. Certain specified felony criminal convictions result in permanent ineligibility for licensure as a Medical Radiographer in Massachusetts. Students with such criminal convictions will be administratively withdrawn from the program.
